Attractive and relatively fast growing fir that is adaptable to a wider climate range than most of its counterparts from Europe and North America. This tree makes an elegant Christmas tree with dark green glossy needles that sit slightly upright and have grey-white undersides.

Korean firs grow best in loamy, well-drained soil with a pH range between 6 and 8. Avoid waterlogged soils or poorly drained sites. Grows in full sun or partial shade. More tolerant to heat compared to other conifers. This variety features an elegant pyramidal structure requiring little to no pruning effort to maintain a nice shape. Fine needles with upright cylindrical cones are aesthetically popular given their Violet colour.
